Carbon To Stone

Carbon To Stone develops solutions for carbon management and metal-material recovery to drive the planet’s transition to a sustainable circular, low-carbon economy. Learning from earth’s natural process called carbon mineralization, Carbon To Stone has perfected a reactive crystallization process that matches the speed and scale our climate crisis demands. Carbon To Stone takes carbon dioxide from air or point sources and combines it with alkaline industrial residues to convert the carbon dioxide into solid carbonates, while recovering energy-critical metals and materials from the residues. It uses recyclable solvents to accelerate the capture and conversion process that occurs in under three hours at less that 75 degrees C and ambient pressure. Carbon To Stone's solution enables carbon removal with effectively negative costs from sale of value-added metal and materials, even before considering tax incentives.
