[ 01 ]About

Catalyxx is a Chemical Technology Company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, pioneering the transition to sustainable chemistry by replacing fossil-based feedstocks with renewable alternatives. Backed by the EIC and EIB, the company's first commercial plant in Europe is scheduled to begin construction in 2026. At the same time, it is advancing strategic projects in Texas and Brazil to accelerate global deployment and capture key market opportunities. To finance this rollout, Catalyxx is launching its €50 million Series B round, securing the equity needed to deliver these projects and establish the company as a global leader in sustainable chemistry. Catalyxx develops next-generation chemicals, replacing fossil-based products with bio-based, low-carbon alternatives that are cost-competitive and fully compatible with existing petrochemical infrastructure. Its catalytic process converts bioethanol—an abundant, renewable, and globally available feedstock—into drop-in intermediate chemicals such as butanol and hexanol, serving a $15B market across paints, coatings, adhesives, cosmetics, and fragrances.
