Coflux Purification is a Houston, Texas–based environmental technology company focused on eliminating PFAS and other persistent contaminants from water and industrial waste streams. Founded out of research commercialized from Rice University, Coflux develops advanced materials and reactor systems designed to permanently destroy hazardous compounds rather than simply transfer them to another waste phase. Coflux’s solution is a modular, on-site water treatment system designed to permanently destroy PFAS and other persistent organic contaminants in complex waste streams. Coflux's technology integrates advanced engineered materials with UV-driven reactor systems to both capture and break down hazardous compounds at the molecular level. By focusing on destruction rather than separation alone, Coflux aims to reduce secondary waste, long-term liability, and off-site disposal costs.
