[ 01 ]About

frakktal is a B2B materials company developing biobased polymer processes for the replacement of fossil fuel based feedstocks across industries. frakktal is developing a biobased polymer process to upend polyvinyl chloride (PVC) overuse, especially in the built environment, a nearly $11B opportunity. As the third-most widely used synthetic plastic polymer behind polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), roughly 40M tons of PVC are produced annually, 70% of which for the built environment. In comparison to PP and PE, PVC has a higher energy consumption and CO2e emission rate.
