Highland Park Technologies develops new approaches to building systems with a focus on design for manufacturing and bio-based materials. Highland Park Technologies first products are focused on solutions for insulated cladding and building envelope retrofits. Utilizing hybrid automation, parametric design scripting, and automated manufacturing, Highland Park has developed a system for adding insulated cladding to the exterior of old and new buildings called GRID. A bio-based, pre-fabricated kit of parts approach, GRID requires 60-80% less labor to install, nearly infinite design aesthetic potential, and at a cost comparable to basic traditional building methods.
