InventWood

InventWood is an innovator of advanced wood materials. They are wood alchemists, in that they are able to modify the chemistry of wood to imbue it with incredible properties. InventWood offers MettleWood, a super-strong wood material (that's stronger than steel), a highly insulative wood material (as a green substitute for polystyrene) and even a transparent wood material. Using their proprietary MettleWood material, InventWood is creating a wood version of the ubiquitous steel I-beam that's used widely in construction. This MettleWood I-beam is 80% lighter, ~50% cheaper, and far more sustainable than its steel counterparts.
