RenewCO₂

RenewCO2 was founded in 2018 following the discovery of highly efficient CO2-reduction catalysts that can convert CO2 directly into multi-carbon liquid chemicals and fuels. The company is focused on supplying electrochemical technology to efficiently covert CO2 into fuels and chemicals. RenewCO2 has raised approximately $11 million dollars in funding (mostly non-dilutive) and currently has 12 full time employees and a well-equipped office and lab in Somerset, NJ. RenewCO2's solution is an electrochemical process that converts CO2 directly to multi-carbon liquid chemicals and fuels with inputs of CO2, water, and electricity. The startup intends to manufacture and sell this equipment to companies that desire to convert their waste CO2 streams into revenue streams.
