VECARIUS is developing a heat-to-electricity technology to boost energy efficiency in mass markets for broad societal impact. One-third to one-half of the energy consumed in many energy-intensive applications is wasted in the form of heat. VECARIUS' patented thermoelectric generator (TEG) technology converts a portion of this heat into useful electricity to reduce energy consumption, emissions, and associated costs. The technology scales compactly and economically in capacity, from watts to megawatts, across a wide range of applications for mass market adoption, including vehicles, electric arc furnaces in steelmaking, and microgrid power generators, among other applications.
