SteamIQ’s ultrasonic sensors help detect the 10 to 30 percent of steam traps that fail in a given year, avoiding wasted energy and money.
The Partnership
Toray Plastics (America) Inc., the largest utility-user in Rhode Island, has installed almost 140 of SteamIQ’s sensors at two of its plants in the state. National Grid provided pay-for-performance incentives for the installations.
