Who’s getting excited for CERAWeek?!

You’re invited to join Greentown for a special CERAWeek edition of our Transition On Tap networking event on March 13, which will feature remarks from our newly announced CEO, Georgina Campbell Flatter. On March 11, you can also catch Georgina at “Financing the Future: Scaling Clean Energy Through Innovative Investment Strategies,” which will dive into the role of financial markets, green finance, ESG investing, and private equity in funding the deployment of clean-energy technologies at scale, and our Board Chair Bobby Tudor at "The Green Gold Rush: A Multi-trillion-dollar Opportunity?"

Greentown startups will be out and about during the week as well—about two dozen of our Houston and Boston members and alumni will be featured at the Innovation Agora!

Later in March, we’re looking forward to hosting two H-Town Roundup panels focused on climatetech and the energy transition. Then, join our April 29 Transition On Tap to celebrate Greentown Houston’s fourth anniversary.

Member Milestones

Cemvita signed an MOU with Be8 to “develop the conversion of glycerin into a low-carbon feedstock” for sustainable aviation fuel.
Imperium Technologies, whose electrochemical solution reduces industrial heating greenhouse-gas emissions by 20 percent by addressing steam systems’ failures, closed $1.2M in funding.
Haffner Energy announced a collaboration with LanzaJet and LanzaTech to explore joint projects across the biomass-to-SAF value chain.
Greentown alum Amogy raised $56M for its ammonia-to-power technology, including from the investment arms of Greentown partners Aramco and BHP.
Greentown alum Syzygy Plasmonics successfully completed a trial with Lotte Chemical of what it says is “the world’s largest all-electric ammonia-cracking system.” It also received a $2.5M award through ARPA-E’s Vision OPEN 2024 projects.
Greentown alum Rheom Materials—which pioneers the use of biopolymers derived from plant-based matter for new applications across the fashion, home goods, electronic, and automotive sectors—announced a strategic partnership with Bixby International.
Greentown members and alumni Amogy, Ebb Carbon, Energy Dome, Enersion, e-Zinc, Dioxycle, Fervo Energy, Mantel, Nth Cycle, Raptor Maps, Sublime Systems, Syzygy Plasmonics, WeaveGrid, and ZwitterCo were featured in the Cleantech Group’s Global Cleantech 100.
