Greentown Go Make 2026 with Shell and Technip Energies is advanced industrial decarbonization by accelerating catalytic innovations—and is looking for startups TRL 3-8!

WHO: Startups at Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 3-8 that are developing process technology and catalytic innovations for low-carbon fuels, low-carbon gases, CO2 removal, and sustainable chemical manufacturing.

WHAT: An open-innovation program that will give selected startups a structured platform to engage leadership from Shell and Technip Energies and explore potential partnership outcomes, including pilots and demonstrations. See more detailed benefits here.

Startup News

Syzygy Plasmonics signed a sustainable-aviation-fuel (SAF) offtake agreement with Trafigura. The six-year agreement covers the entire production volume from Syzygy’s first commercial facility, with initial deliveries scheduled for 2028.
Mars Materials was selected for Greentown partner Shell’s Shell GameChanger program and successfully advanced past the first stage gate. The Shell GameChanger test program aims to validate bio-based sugar feedstock as an alternate raw material to CO2 for the startup’s acrylonitrile pathway.
Greentown alum FluxWorks, which delivers elegant, efficient, and contactless power transmission, raised a $5M seed round.
